Formed by a group of female activists in 2008 supporting Hillary Clinton’s candidacy, hireheels became a vociferous platform voice during the 2008 Presidential Election against misogyny in the media and nefarious election practices. Today, hireheels continues to stand tall on women’s issues affecting our sisters here in the United States and around the globe, seeking gender parity on human rights, professional opportunity, freedom of speech, access to capital and protection from religious oppression.
