Over on another blog, the response to the roe v. wade threat comments is that SCOTUS justices are nominated and appoint with the advice and consent of the senate, so, of course the democratic senate will prevent an abortion banner from being appointed ... because the democratic congressional houses (both of them) have shown oh so much spine against the gop executive recently ... insight – I’m in full agreement with you that the real issues are getting ignored.

My point being, he made this comment the day after the O'Reilly interview and this is what jumps out at me: "I’m not your typical presidential candidate" "and I just want to be honest with you. I know that" "This isn’t about issues, it’s about personalities", "you know, he hangs out with radicals or he’s not patriotic." Bill O'Reilly more than likely hit him hard on the William Ayers topic and this time the Senator couldn't get away with, "he's just some guy from the neighborhood" lie. Boogie,

Last Thursday Senator Obama was interviewed by Fox News Bill O'Reilly. The interview has already aired it's 1st of 4 segments. Mon, Tues, Weds will be the next 3. Finally, we will have a Journalist who will ask tougher questions rather than asking the Senator what his wife will be wearing the night of his acceptance speech (CBS's Harry Smith asked that lame question). Anyway, judging by what Senator Obama has been saying out on the trail since the O'Reilly interview I do believe your man's downward spiral is in the beginning stages. Now, most "informed" people know of the Senators "less than patriotic" associations. Judging by what the Senator put out on 5 Sept, a day after the O'Reilly interview, it seems he is attempting to smooth over what O'Reilly may have exposed (Bill Ayers).
