Why hireheels Won’t Back Obama: He’s Just Another Bad Boy

Posted on June 4th, 2008 in Sista Christian Louboutin by hireheels

Remember that cocktail reception that you went to last fall? The one where you met that really hot guy? The one who went to all the right schools, had all the right connections, the one that you could hardly believe was talking to you!?! But incredulously he was… Wow, thought you— “WHAT A CATCH!” He was smooth as silk, elegantly dressed; he knew all the right things to say— and he said them with perfect syntax!!! When he asked for your biz card, you almost fell off your Manolos as you fumbled through your purse trying to find one without make-up smudges on it… “OMG,” said you, as you told your girlfriend the next day, “I have a really great date on Saturday with this incredible guy, I just hope that I didn’t have a piece of lettuce stuck in my teeth; I couldn’t stop smiling. It was such a connection… WOW…”sistachristian_byline

Well Saturday night came, you strapped on those hot new Louboutin sandals that you forwent 3.5 months of lunches (and many dinners) to afford… you made it to the that new “IT” place (how in the name of Hell was he was able to get a reservation) just on time to run to the Ladies’ to touch up your lipstick. You made your best entrance into the bar area (no lettuce in your teeth to be sure), but no dude. You waited for an hour… checking your mobile every few minutes, maybe he’s tied up… After your third Cosmo, you finally admitted the worst. He’s a NO show— you’re stood up. This smooth-as-silk guy was a gorgeously shiny package with all the righteously right rhetoric. Sadly, this beautifully appointed Bad Boy just didn’t have the substance or the soul to back it all up.

Sista and Princess say, “Barack Obama we’re bored with Bad Boys here… We want a GOOD Man! Maybe it’s time to go on a date with John McCain…”Or perhaps we should just blow off our Bad Boys and Gold Ol’ ones too and stick with the much BETTER Woman. We could throw a real whoop of a party. How does DISSing the backroom men altogether sound Senator Clinton? I’m sure Independents serve fab Cosmo’s too!!

“HILLARY ON TOP!” says HH.com! You just let the 18 mill of us know and we’ll raise that bar (and then some).

Wow. Just… Wow!

The media and the Democratic cartel bosses tried to end this race yesterday before all of the votes were cast. Once again, like a lover trying to finish the job quickly so that he can go play poker with the guys, their climax was premature and left us unimpressed and unsatisfied. No amount of false AP reporting could supress the vote. No number of superdelegates dragging Oblahma’s sorry, battered ass across the finish line could seal the deal. They tried to take Hillary’s day away from her, and she took it right back: "You know, I understand that a lot of people are asking, what does Hillary want? What does she want? piper_in_pucci_byline
Well, I want what I have always fought for in this whole campaign. I want to end the war in Iraq. I want to turn this economy around. I want health care for every American. I want every child to live up to his or her God-given potential, and I want the nearly 18 million Americans who voted for me to be respected, to be heard and no longer to be invisible."

Got that, Tweety?

On a day in which many tears were shed, a radiant, energized Hillary Clinton gave a thrilling speech that both pumped up her supporters and p’nked the MSM. In an instant, my emotions went from sorrow to elation. I know that O is supposed to be the great orator, but empty promises of ‘hope’ and ‘change’ could never move me the way that Hillary’s words did last night. Pay attention:  This is leadership… "Now the question is, where do we go from here, and given how far we’ve come and where we need to go as a party, it’s a question I don’t take lightly. This has been a long campaign, and I will be making no decisions tonight…

We don’t want you to.

HireHeels says: Do not concede, sit back and get yourself a nice spa pedicure, read a good book (or trashy mag) and wait…wait for your opponent to implode while you’re sippin’ your mojito on the Vineyard…and wait for that 3AM call…. the one from the mob bosses sweet-talkin’ you back to save their asses.

Hillary, you can do whatever you want. And when you decide, do it on your terms because, girlfriend, there’s a cool 18 million who’ve got her back.

See you in Denver!

BREAKING NEWS FROM 6/3/2008
Statement from the Clinton Campaign :
The AP story is incorrect. Senator Clinton will not concede the nomination this evening.

You may recall my recent post “Hillary’s Nuclear Option: It’s The Women Stupid!” where I deem feminism, besieged by an indelibly etched princess_wears_prada_bylinebitter, battered image, in need of an extreme makeover. Harriet Christian has proven my point! Let me state clearly, I admire Harriet’s guts, but her outburst also needed an extreme makeover.

Well ladies, she’s given us both! Donned in “ladies who lunch” garb, she nailed her interview on FOX’s cavuto:

I still say we need to rebrand the chic movement, complete with a hireheels-style-so-smart-and-sexy ad campaign to lure the youtube generation, mobilize the Harriet Christians of the world…and then fuse ‘em! If ever there were a period in history where emotion could buoy such an effort, it would be this very moment.

Hireheels is floating the idea of a “MILLION WOMAN MARCH” in Denver to harness all that creative oestrogen and maybe even inspire a Hillary Independent run (Fox Contributor and Radio Talk Show Host Tammy Bruce is already pushing this on the airwaves) ….we’ve gotta do something, because walking away like good little girls is NOT an option right now!

HIREHEELS REMINDER TO READERS: Piper in Pucci started the SeatOurDelegates.com Petition which has been fighting to seat Michigan and Florida delegations since their primaries

Hi Sam,

I enjoyed talking with you yesterday in Washington DC. I just sauntered over to Huffington Post for the first time in months to read your report (”Eating a Reuben Amidst A Crowd Of Protesting Clintonites“) of what occurred in Harry’s Pub yesterday afternoon during the DNC’s Rules and Bylaws Committee meeting. (I’ll be taking a shower immediately after writing this e-mail.) After reading the post, I wondered if we were at the same place. I find your documentation of yesterday’s events to be incomplete and irresponsible. I don’t remember hearing anyone make the statements about Soros or the rigging of the South Dakota primary or the claims that Senator Obama is a socialist. And as those statements were not attributed to anyone, I question your judgment in reporting them. It seems to me that you are trying to create a narrative that Clinton supporters are a bunch of rapid wingnuts that will readily spew the most outrageous and scurrilous rumors about Obama at a moment’s notice. I can assure you if such supporters exist, they are but a small minority of the deep coalition that Senator Clinton has built. Most of us that campaign for her do so by telling people of her accomplishments and experience, and not by denigrating her opponent. Nor do I recall hearing the chants of “Huffington Post sucks. Fox News fair and balanced.” I will proudly admit to chanting “Count the Votes” upon Robert Wexler’s arrival at the bar.

My other problem with the article was your reporting about the distribution of pamphlets promoting Senator Obama’s alleged participation in drug use and gay sex with Larry Sinclair. You failed to mention that those pamphlets were only being distributed by Larry Sinclair himself. I can assure you that his appearance at the rally was very brief and not at all associated with the peaceful protesters who simply demanded that the voters of Florida and Michigan be recognized and honored.

I also question your reporting of why many of us will be unable to support Senator Obama in the general election. The mainstream media has written us off as bitter sore losers. This is false. First of all, no one has won (or lost) the nomination yet. That determination will be made by the so-called superdelegates. Secondly, our failure to support Senator Obama should he win the nomination has more to do with his paper -thin resume and lack of significant legislative achievement than a case of sour grapes. Personally, I also have a problem with any candidate who would not help make the voters of Florida and Michigan whole by agreeing to revotes. None of this gives me any pleasure to say. I want the war in Iraq to end. But when I hear advisors of his say that he’ll leave 60,000-80,000 troops in Iraq or that he will not be committed to any plan that he touts as a presidential candidate while on the campaign trail, then I have little reason to believe that he’ll be any better on Iraq than McCain will. Shorter me: my non-support of Obama has been well thought out. I’m sure that others have valid reasons for their rejection of him as well.

Finally, our appearance at yesterday’s rally was not in support of Senator Clinton. It was in support of democracy. The issue of Florida and Michigan is larger than either of the candidates or the party. If my vote can be thrown out (or reduced by half) on a technicality that was beyond my control, why should I have any belief that my vote will ever count?

Anyhow, I would appreciate if you would publish a more accurate portrayal of yesterday’s events and of the mind set of Senator Clinton’s supporters. I will also remind you that neither candidate will be able to secure the nomination at primary’s end. Thus, the party’s nominee will be determined by the superdelegates. Please allow the process to play out before prematurely coronating anyone.

Thank you.

[Sent under separate cover]:
PS. I also notice that while you posted one YouTube video of a protester being escorted from the building, you did not post this video of the Long Island school teacher who was bruised while being forcibly removed from the meeting:

It would be nice if you included this as well.
