problem with denver is that all the hotels in denver proper have been sold out for months. you might find a room in one of the neighboring suburbs, but even those are getting slim last time I checked, which was 3 weeks ago! the good thing is that i hear denver has a decent mass transit system, so if you’re staying outside of town you should be able to get in to town relatively easy…..but a denverite is a better expert than i am!!

as to the question, “what do I want?” I want hillary as president; she earned it. second to that, I want hillary as vice president and health care czar. she must be given the full range of powers and influence in her job; the entire nation and especially BO must view her VP role in a completely blue-sky fashion and make it unlike anything we’ve ever seen. IF bo would drop the big fat ego trip and let her do her thing, it’s possible this country will pull itself out of the gutter.
If he chooses to do it any other way, he will fail. HE NEEDS HER. Hillary’s power is greater than his, in the final analysis, and he would be wise to include her (and bill) in every plan for the cabinet, policies, etc. There is NO reason why these kids can’t play together nicely in the same sandbox — they (especially he) should buck up and do it for the country, BO’s ego be damned.

Minx, regarding the citizenship thing: that lie keeps getting spread further and further on the net, and, like the guys in the 1930′s said, if a lie keeps being repeated, it will be believed.

BHO’s mom was a natural born citizen, so the commentary “Obama’s mother was only 18 when Obama was born, which means though she had been a U.S. Citizen for 10 years” is incorrect – she was born in Kansas.

And BHO was born in Hawaii, which gives him citizenship jus soli (born on us territory).
Even if Hawaii were not a state, it was considered a territory, legally, for the purposes of citizenship jus soli, since 1900.

alg()rhythm – you won’t get reasoned debate except from the people who are the registered writers for this site, like piper, manalo, sista etc … the rest are just chanting the same thing over and over again.

then you get a supporter that tries to say he’s not a natural born us citizen – which is in fact untrue.

that’s a lie spread to smear him, like the other comments I have read here saying they don’t care what church he goes to, they think he’s a muslim at heart.

so what? since when is _any_ candidate’s religious choice a viable thing to discuss regarding their suitability for elected office?

didn’t anyone read that part of the constitution that said “no religious test”?

this is the same thing that disgusted me when the right was tromping on romney (whatever other things made him unsuited to be president) over whether mormons are christians, or christian enough, to be president.

what does it matter, and why is the debate framed that way?
what, if you’re not a christian, you’re not good enough to be president?

like I said, rove is laughing all the way to the ballot box over the fracturing of the democratic party, and if you think obama is paying 400 of his supporters to write pro-obama comments here, how many do you think the boy genius (rove) is paying to make pro-obama posts here, knowing that’ll will just to push more hillary supporters to mccain?

justiz guy I hear ya… you are looking for a reasoned debate, looking to make the world a better place, and define a positive course of action going forward.
You might even think that a large group of people saying the election was stolen, that voter fraud was the reason they can’t forgive the DNC, might make a list of points, so somebody could understand what their beef exactly is, instead of just chalking it up to sour grapes, which is what a rational person would have to do, not being provided with the slightest scrap of organized evidence.

An essentially no-term US Senator against an essentially one-term US Senator with nearly the same views deserves this much of a flap?

Just in case I am being too subtle, make a case. Otherwise everyone who is rational will assume you are sore losers.
I like the ladies of this site, and I would like to assume better, and I am (relatively) open-minded, and would want to help make sure that elections are fair, but how would I ever make that decision based on the lack of information you are giving?

I love Hillary, but this is bigger than her. It’s about my self-respect. Which requires not getting over stolen elections.
parties became irrelevant this election cycle. It’s now about us, disenfranchised voters. How will our rights be best enforced? I’ll know by November. But elections thieves don’t get my vote.
