Gucci Guy’s close-talkin’ with Hillary

Posted on June 5th, 2008 in On Consignment by hireheels

Our Resident sensitive guy gets all gushy with his personal account of his night with the Clintons - gucci guy, you can call us sweetie anytime!

Hey Hireheels hotties!!!!!! It’s your sugardaddy - GUCCI GUY!

Wanted to share my Tuesday evening in NYC with the Clintons. All of her big supporters were there : the funders and the superdelegates, etc.sugardaddy_byline

Hillary was testing the waters and trying to assess how much support she had moving forward, if and when she were to do so. Meaning, will her superdelegates still back her if she pushes toward the convention? Will her funders still donate toward her efforts to keep campaigning all the way to the credentials committee and possibly the convention? Finally, will WE, her foot soldiers continue to rage forward, onward and to Denver if need be. That’s why she asked us to tell her what we are thinking. She was taking stock and will need to decide soon her next steps.

What struck me more than anything was Bill Clinton. The way he was looking at Hillary spoke volumes. It was as if he’d fallen in love with her all over again. He seemed in awe of her brilliance too. I mean, as if he just couldn’t believe her strength and determination and intelligence. It was as if after 30 years together, he had learned something else, something new and something amazing, about this woman whom he had almost forgotten he loved this much. And boy did his eyes beam with so much affection and PRIDE! It was hard to imagine that there was any regret in that room.

I took Hillary’s hand and said “You are my hero. I’ve given so much of what I have to our dream of taking back the white house for our country. And Hillary, ONLY you can do it. You know this, you are the only one. Please don’t quit, please don’t give up, because it all falls on you. I know it is a lot of pressure, but we will always stand with you, as long as you want us and as far as you want to go. You know that”. We held hands the entire time and said, “Thank you, so very much, this means so much”. It was a powerful moment.

After giving several interviews: I spoke with Bill, Lanny Davis, Chelsea and Terry McAuliffe all of them seemed happy to be there, but there was a sense of sadness in the air, but NOT quite resignation. The opinions on what to do next were mixed. Bill was the only one who didn’t say it WASN’T over. He just smiled and nodded when people said don’t quit. Terry McAuliffe says Denver is certainly an option. Lanny wants her to be offered VP. He says that if she accepts or not, that she has earned it and that her opponent should have the decency to offer it. Chelsea was proud of her mother and seems to believe that the voters will push her own to do ‘what she is meant to do’ whatever that may be.

I heard on decent authority from one of Hillary’s family friends (to whose daughter she and Bill are godparents) that Hillary is seeking the VP slot and if she receives it she will bow out gracefully. If not , (provided she can keep her supporters in her pocket) will press forward. In other words, she has won more votes and would have to be campaigning all the way to November on his behalf in either event, so why SHOULDN’T she be on the ticket. If he doesn’t offer (and he hasn’t) then she may have no CHOICE than to press onward, guns shooting and us right behind her ready for a late –summer Denver brawl.

Hillary seemed serene and maybe a little reserved. But she didn’t seem out for the count. Let’s band together with courage and love for our great Lady and know that we will follow her wherever her next steps may be. We are the soldiers who made this campaign. This one is for us!

Thank you all for this primary season and I love you,

Gucci Guy

Note: Hireheels apologizes for posting this a day late - how incredibly touching… and indeed prescient …now that we know what we do!

    AP: 34 minutes ago…

“She is not seeking the vice presidency, and no one speaks for her but her,” communications director Howard Wolfson said. “The choice here is Senator Obama’s and his alone.”

Hello to all of you (or as we say ya’ll) from the Texas Democratic Convention in Austin TX. We’ve been told that Chelsea Clinton is arriving to speak to us Friday June 6th or Saturday the 7th. Ya’ll listen up and if I hear any scuttlebutt, I’ll be sure that “hireheels”, or as one lady asked me today, “Did you say higher heels”?, gets the lowdown first. Updates to follow as warranted.

We are trying to get a “Thank you card campaign” started. We want to flood Senator Clinton’s DC office with thank you cards. On the front of the envelope we are writing “WE ARE ONE OF 18 MILLION” and we are asking her to take it to Denver. We want to reach as many supporters as possible so it can be effective. THE ADDRESS:

    THE HONORABLE HILLARY RODHAM CLINTON

    UNITED STATES SENATE

476 RUSSELL SENATE OFFICE BUILDING WASHINGTON

    DC 20510-3202

This was recently brought to my attention. Howard Dean is trying to remove Hillary from the ballot at the Convention. Please spread the word, we cannot let this go unchallenged.
