angry white woman - part deux

Posted on June 3rd, 2008 in Princess Wears Prada by hireheels

BREAKING NEWS FROM 6/3/2008
Statement from the Clinton Campaign :
The AP story is incorrect. Senator Clinton will not concede the nomination this evening.

You may recall my recent post “Hillary’s Nuclear Option: It’s The Women Stupid!” where I deem feminism, besieged by an indelibly etched princess_wears_prada_bylinebitter, battered image, in need of an extreme makeover. Harriet Christian has proven my point! Let me state clearly, I admire Harriet’s guts, but her outburst also needed an extreme makeover.

Well ladies, she’s given us both! Donned in “ladies who lunch” garb, she nailed her interview on FOX’s cavuto:

I still say we need to rebrand the chic movement, complete with a hireheels-style-so-smart-and-sexy ad campaign to lure the youtube generation, mobilize the Harriet Christians of the world…and then fuse ‘em! If ever there were a period in history where emotion could buoy such an effort, it would be this very moment.

Hireheels is floating the idea of a “MILLION WOMAN MARCH” in Denver to harness all that creative oestrogen and maybe even inspire a Hillary Independent run (Fox Contributor and Radio Talk Show Host Tammy Bruce is already pushing this on the airwaves) ….we’ve gotta do something, because walking away like good little girls is NOT an option right now!

There needs to be a million woman march whether she wins or not. This shoe dropping in the media has me even hotter under the collar!! Isn’t there a lawsuit she can file over this? I don’t think you can influence the outcome of an election to that degree while voting is going on can you?!!!?

What a dump this party has become indeed!! Let’s see if they say one word about this being over the top in influening voters in South Dakota and Montana.

Let’s do this. Get organized. I’ve had it.

Even I may venture forth from exile and attend. Female anger and feminism have been bubbling beneath the surface in several places, but mainstream reclaiming of the F-word as a positive term is way overdue. Feminism is big enough for lots of different flavors, and the makeover princess suggests is one way to break through the stereotypes of both “humorless unshaven academic” feminist and “Pussycat Doll” faux-minist. Just think, a wide swatch of women, witty, motivated, sticking up for each other as we show the powers that be in no uncertain terms that they can’t tell us to shut up and stuff some more damned envelopes.

Free Michigan delegates are up on ebay!! LMAO!

Also people have been calling the DNC and asking if they too could have a “free” delegate since they weren’t on any ballots either and they heard the DNC was just giving them away. One person asked if they come with double off coupons, like buy one Michigan delegate get one free! Call. Okay, yeah, I was one of the ones who called.

LOL! Take that you rat bastards.

you gals have been rockin’ the hh house today! Keep it up!!! I don’t care what the delegate numbers are. B.O. will not be my president!!!! I got a date with McCain. Just a date– no commits yet. But I’ll take experience over flaccid and wimpy any day!!!

  12. Ruth said,

    on June 3rd, 2008 at 7:06 pm

Please do NOT listen to the MSM. Delegates are NOT decided fully till AUGUST. EVER !! She won the most votes..she can make her case and they bloody well know it and are doing a “shoe drop” in the media today. Screw that…make CALLS! I don’t care if you never made them before and I don’t care if you can only make one call. Popular vote will count for something. I spoke with Maxine Waters office today and they don’t sound all that sure about their endorsement of Obama for “unity” sake.

They can ALL change their minds right up to the convention so keep working and do not listen to this dispicable ruse to say she’s out.

I’ve been waiting for this woman to run for president since she worke with my step mother on an inner city school program in Little Rock umpteen years ago and I will not back down to this b.s. in the media. If they want to anger some “women” let them go ahead. it has served me well, I’ve made more calls today than I think I ever did. South Dakota looks really good so far.

Hillary all the way to Denver!!

  14. Princess wears Prada said,

Princess says it will be bittersweet in NYC tonight- i have a friend going - he said the event is at capacity……her speech will closely watched for any type of signals pointing to a protracted fight leading to the floor…

I keep getting asked: “Would you vote for Obama if Hillary were on the ticket” and I still cannot bring myself to say yes….

Remaining in the democratic party is lose-lose for hillary & me :-(

  15. wry said,

    on June 3rd, 2008 at 7:49 pm

It’s come to the point that I would not vote for Obama with Hillary on the ticket. To me it’s so “iron my shirts”. Unless of course I was pretty sure he’d be indicted or something and resign like Nixon.
I’d march in Denver. My husband said I should buy myself an airline ticket for my birthday.

  16. Ruth said,

    on June 3rd, 2008 at 7:50 pm

Princess, I am never going to be able to say yes to a man who rode in on this wave of sociopathic woman hating and sat silent. Kiss my southern, liberal behind…..

There is a larger issue here for me now…never, ever will I vote for this man who put his own interests above what would have been best for the country and this party and that would have been to wait and let her run thus giving us a possible sixteen year run at the W.H. if he was v.p. But ooohhh nooooo. He couldn’t do that…then there was the “bro’s before ho’s ” movement.

If she does not take it to Denver I will keep working so she can run in 2012 but, that’s unthinkable right now. Right now? She needs to make her popular vote case.

Vote for Obama?? Against my own principles? Go to the bakc of Obama’s bus??? I don’t fucking think so. I just cannot do it. I hope he is defeated. I am doing all I can to make sure he is. I held my nose and voted democrat before when I wasn’t pleased but, this time…it’s just too much to ask.

OB and Russert are being sexist again. Note the “tit for tat” in OBlahBlah’s speech and then Timmy Russert was laughing it up in his so-called commentary.

Tell MSNBC and NBC was you think about these juvenile comments:

    MSNBC
    Mr. Phil Griffin,
    Senior Vice President, News
    NBC Television Network
    30 Rockefeller Plz
    New York, NY 10112
    phil.griffin@nbc.com

    Steve Capus,
    President, NBC News

Hillary wants to know what you think on her website. There is a form on the homepage to express your thoughts. Go to http://www.hillaryclinton.com.

I agree, what hubris on B’s part! 20 months in the Senate??? We don’t need a rock star. We need our Madame President, who has dedicated years of her life to her party. I am a 55 year old who has always, since 18, voted for and fought for Dems. No more, ever, unless Baby Howie comes to his senses, and soon. PS:Too many rock stars mess with too much cocaine.

First Texas, and then I am ready to climb a mile high in Denver for Hillary. Let’s march!

ALERT: TEXAS DELEGATES FOR HILLARY: IT’S NOT OVER BY A LONG SHOT!

I just spoke directly, via telephone, to someone who is working for the Hillary Clinton Campaign in Austin, Texas. All Hillary Clinton Delegates & Alternates to the Texas State Democratic Convention are strongly urged to arrive in Austin as planned. It most certainly is not over and the fight is just now going into overdrive. Obama is not officially the nominee until the Convention in Denver. Delegates can change their minds at any time between now and then. Hillary Campaign staffers, working in other parts of the country, are flying tonight and in the early morning hours of Wednesday June 4th to be in Austin before and during the state convention. If you are a delegate or alternate it is vital that you come to Austin. Tell everyone in your area. Hillary Clinton is a fighter and is not giving in; THE FIGHT IS ON!

    THIS is the party united!

    Hi everyone,
Nancy Pelosi plans to run for president either next time around or the election after that. I hope you’ll all e-mail Pelosi now, as I did, explaining that her disgraceful actions in undermining Hillary’s campaign mean that she (Pelosi) will never attain her own presidential goal because we Clinton supporters–all 18 million of us–will vote against her.

count me in, as well as my sisters, and my mom, we will gladly trade in our stilettos for flats, we are ready to march. The DNC made one huge mistake the day they decided our votes didn’t and wouldn’t matter. they picked their golden boy long before the first vote was ever casted in FLA and MI, and bashing Hillary into the ground all the way. And now they “WANT” her 18 million votes?? letting them the DNC get away with that would set us back years. the women suffrage went thru hell, for this right to vote, and have our voices heard. We will prove to the Democrat Party, they will not decide for us, and the day they stated we “WOULD” stand behind obama once hillary was gone, they were so “WRONG” I will never vote for an inexperienced fool.
the DNC made their choice, and they can stick their nominee up their a@@es!!!! NO TO OBAMA, and his racist wife!!
let’s march, One Voice, We can show them what Unity really looks like!!!!!!
