auchi! sista’s review of sex & the city

Posted on May 13th, 2008 in Sista Christian Louboutin by hireheels

Fashionastas on both sides of the pond are teetering on the edges of their Manolos in anticipation of “Sex and the City”— the movie. The world premier of the film took place last night (May 12, 2008) in London. Not to worry, this fashion-savvy chic had her webcam well poised to view and report on the couturier spectacle that dazzled the Leicester Square red carpet.

The fabulously fashionable four showed up for the pre-premier soirée donning creations that certainly turned heads. My head was shaking however… WHAT were these gals thinking?!? Was there a mirror in the presidential suite? Or perhaps freely furnished couturier was just too good to pass up? After all some say, “We are in a recession…” sistachristian_byline

Sarah Jessica Parker’s lush green Alexander McQueen strapless would have doubled beautifully as a delectable a fruit salad… especially when served up with its pièce de résistance — rosette and feathered Philip Treacy hat topper.

Kim Cattrall’s taffeta Vivian Westwood was vivid in red, but dumpy. Cynthia Nixon was sleek and chic in full-length black Calvin Klein—although, “TMI,” says I, with a décolletage view that left way too much hanging. Kristen Davis wore a vintage fuchsia frock that would have done us all a favor if it had been left in grandmother’s attic! The shoes DULL, Dull, dull (Parker’s two-tone Alexander M’s get an honorable mention)… AND as for the bling— lack-luster to non-existent…

Don’t fret my sassy “Sex and the City fans.” That was merely the London premier. There is plenty of time for the gals to get it together with their fashion consultants by May 30th, when the film opens on this side of the Atlantic.
And rumor has it that the movie itself features a bevy of fashion delights from such notables as Balenciaga, Vivienne Westwood, Christian Lacroix, Oscar de la Renta and Karl Lagerfeld. According to famed costume designer Pat Field there are at least 80 costumes for Parker’s character Carrie alone, and a trove of jewelry treasures that cost millions.

See you @ the movies in D.C.!!

hireheels loves juicy scandals – especially when they involve the prancin’ pied piper of droolin’ democrats. While still relegated to the tabloids and blogosphere chatter, conspiracy hounds are abuzz with delight.

Anyway princess has found it all as confusing and chaotic as a Bergdorf Shoe Sale – but just as delicious!!!

Larry Sinclair & 3 murdered gay congregants of Obama’s Trinity Church…what’s going on? Inquiring Heels Wanna Know!

We did some digging and were flabbergasted to discover that, of these 3 murders which occurred in the span of about 40 days….beginning late November 2007:

- all were young black men
- all were openly gay
- all were members of Trinity Church of Christ (2 were choir members - of which one was Choir master)

I’ve read that Senator Obama was very friendly with at least one (possibly two) of the victims….but HOW DID LARRY SINCLAIR (Obama’s gay sex accuser) KNOW ANY OR ALL OF THESE PEOPLE…??? (He is a white man…who is indeed openly gay, but NOT A CHURCH MEMBER….)

Well, according to another ‘digger’ …to answer the question of how Sinclair knew the 3 murdered gay congregants…HE DIDN’T!!!!!!!!! Telephone records show that Donald Young, the 47-year-old choir master who joined Trinity when he was only 12, was trying to contact Sinclair, just days before he was murdered. The only people who had Sinclair’s private cellphone numbers were in the Obama camp. Mr. Sinclair had tried to contact Barack Obama several times before he went public - to get Obama to address his sex and drug allegations. Sinclair claims to have NEVER met Donald Young in his life, yet he now alleges that Obama and Young were one-time lovers. Meanwhile, the real “EYEOPENER” here is that all three men who could substantiate Sinclair’s claims are now DEAD!!!! All three shot in the back of the head EXECUTION STYLE!!!!!!!

MSM has not covered any of these coincidental murders - even if for no other reason that they all happened to be ‘parishioners of Obama’s congregation’……. and even in light of the recent Reverend Wright scandal…….if 3 members of Hillary Clinton’s congregation were murdered - I think it would be plastered everywhere….

Meanwhile, in Puerto Rico of all places….. Sinclair gave an interview with “Superexclusivo”, which is the highest rated (albeit tabloidy) show on the Island. Nearly every puerto rican tube is tuned in at 6 pm every weeknight. With Puerto Rico’s FOUR MILLION VOTERS AND 55 DELEGATES, coupled with Hillary’s potential wins in WV and Ky, she could conceivably cut his delegate lead in half and supass him in the popular vote. (And then there’s Florida & Michigan!)

Now Sinclair has issued a video challenge to the MSM to a live nationwide interview. In it he vows to disclose the limo driver’s name that introduced Sinclair to Obama in 1999.

Here is Larry Sinclair’s orig. site

and his more recent site with Rev. Manning’s contention that Obama is a ‘closet homosexual’

Chatter that the LAtimes has been sitting on this story for a while now

Here is the Globe Magazine article that has exposed this story. According to the private investigator who has digging deepter into this case, Obama is involved!!

Then there are the Whitehouse.com polygraphs? They offered Sinclair 10,000 dollars to do a new polygraphs and 100,000 if he passed them. One report showed “deception.” The second report was never published.

Cleveland Leader - one of the few real news website to reference Sinclair’s claim

this article shows that there were FLAWS in how the Whitehouse.com tests were carried out.

Here is Sinclair’s YouTube video where he alleges the encounters

Youtube video that hints the MSM knows all about Sinclair

hillary’s nuclear option: it’s the women stupid!

Posted on May 10th, 2008 in Princess Wears Prada by hireheels

Princess asks again: "Should Hillary Dump The Dems and Finish The Job?"  Tell us what you think

Hillary, why not run a 3rd party on society’s 3rd rail – feminism?

Truth be told, I never considered myself a feminist, but naturally I revere the legends.  I have always said that classic feminism needs an extreme makeover (even a new label).  Young women are supporting Barack Obama in droves.  Like me, they may not relate to the earlier women’s movement. But sadly, they will face the same, if not greater barriers to success than their predecessors.
princess_wears_prada_byline
It’s time to educate these girls, but do it in a manner that doesn’t alienate them (remember how effective the “Mad As Hell” YouTuber was? - see shoetube). I’ll probably take a few shots for saying this, but I have never felt that organizations like NOW spoke to ME!  WOMEN POWER – great - I get it!! Maybe I am waking up a little late to this, but the feminist message has always felt too militant and un-sexy (in the non-sexual sense).  NOW is the time to reboot,  rebrand, and truly begin a modern-day women’s suffrage-esque movement.  In an article this morning with AP, NOW President Kim Gandy suggests that Hillary’s defeat would be a huge blow to some feminists. There’s that “F” word again.  I would begin there…by relegating that word to the history books and re-launching the women’s movement with the most pervasive and creative advertising campaign this country has ever seen.  And can anyone think of a better reason than Hillary Clinton’s continued candidacy to embark on such a campaign?  "It’s hard to imagine that anytime soon there will be another candidate as extraordinary as Hillary Clinton," declared Gundy.

That brings me to the radical idea that inspired this post…  A political party of the women, by the women, and for the people!   Think about it… If Hillary were to dump the democratic party, like Joe Lieberman did, what would the fallout be?  Or to look at it through a more sinister lens, how could Obama and McCain survive?  Though she’s certain to lose white males (though not all) to John McCain, she would most definitely hold on to (and build) her female base.  It may be a gamble, but an inspirational one at that. And haven’t we found that when Clinton plays the "inspiration" card, it tends to yield her more dividends??!!  If Maggie Williams and Mandy Grunwald were to shift gears into estrogen overdrive, who’s to say that Clinton couldn’t steal from both Obama’s and McCain’s female constituencies?  So chics, gals, chicas, girls, ladies, divas, goddesses, bitches, I ask: “would now be a good time to rise up?”  Do we need NOW to lead us or can we come out one-by-one and ask Americans to finally HireHeels!!! How’s that for re-branding the women’s movement?!?!  All we’d need is a few million bucks to start, an unlimited shoe allowance for our spokesgals and some pro-bono work by the ad gurus @ The Martin Agency.

Gosh it’s almost 10 am on a Saturday morning….guess I’d better wake up now.

The fat lady ain’t sung yet

Posted on May 9th, 2008 in Manolo Minx by hireheels

With all of the pronouncements from on-high by the likes of (well, they know who they are), plenty of us hillary supporters have been turning to our ben & jerry’s for comfort this week. It seems like all is lost.

except it’s not.

Check out this analysis at Corrente Wire.

Short version:
West Virginia and Kentucky bear striking demographic resemblances to key swing state congressional districts that went big-big-big for hillary (like in the 30$-45% range). Two Hillary blowouts in states that are most like the areas where she’s already had blowouts puts her in a strong position to continue. But only if we counter the major morale-sucking operation and fight back. Write letters to the editor. Phone bank. Blog. Donate. Shove our refusal to be propaganda-ed out of the race right back in their faces and show them the fat lady ain’t sung yet.

Don’t let the multimillionaire pundits who pull opinions out of their…Gucci loafers…tell you to take your ball and go home like a good little girl. The last guy who told me that got a Doc Marten somewhere he won’t soon forget. Now’s the time for us to lace up our big-girl booties and stat kicking butt for our candidate.

hillary’s path to victory - albeit “backwards and in high heels”

Posted on May 8th, 2008 in Princess Wears Prada by hireheels

Start donning your chanel blinders and ipod earphones - there’s a tough road ahead, but there a path to victory on that road. Our gal knows it and you know it too. And don’t be fooled by “mob-boss” Dean and “party elder-wimp” McGovern - they’re both exorcizing their own demons from past, catastrophic failures and implosions. As they plant more land mines, expect things to get even more callous. And when that happens, just keep returning to hireheels for a nice spa pedicure!

open thread - - what REALLY happened in Gary, Indiana?!?

Posted on May 7th, 2008 in Uncategorized by hireheels

Was there manipulation in gary, Indiana? According to “D.C. Darling in Dior” (our legal eagle who works for the campaign) they have it on good authority that the indiana results were DELIBERATELY held up so that hillary could not claim victory during prime time (hence controlling the morning headlines)! a fellow Indiana mayor called out the Gary mayor on national tv for not releasing votes earlier. There were issues about consolidating location of all the voting machine cartridges….check out the dueling mayors in the video!

THIS is the kind of crap that hillary has had to put up with time and time again. D.C. Darling in Dior continues to work the legal hotline (as she did for Indy) and will keep us posted on any dirty mob tactics that go on in west virginia.

sista reports: a tale of “indy-antics”

Posted on May 7th, 2008 in Sista Christian Louboutin by hireheels

Greetings. I’m still on the rather sloshy ground here on Washington Street at the Cap Grille in downtown Indy. I almost feel more comfortable with the repubs at this point than the dems. Now, that’s a first!!!!! I have to say folks are really hurting here (not where i’m sitting– but the ones looking in the window). And for the most part those folks braving the rain think "change you can xerox" isn’t such a fab idea (that includes the repubs in here btw—they actually think hill has a good plan). Working folks need some serious help in here Indy (and all over) and they need it now! And sista says, "very interesting (B.O.)…you tout and wax on about ideas about "new politics" when you’re using more “oldsistachristian_bylineschool” poly machine tactics to get out the vote (not to mention hold up the vote) than anyone has in the last couple of decades. word has it… Daley—yes, that’s the son of “the” Daley; he apparently helped Obama big time!! Maybe there were even some posthumous votes cast for him! Vote early and often as they say in old Chi-town… funny how those votes from Gary, came in much later (even nearby districts seemed to get their acts together—see shoetube ; I watched live at 1AM this morning) and were not released in bundles as the other votes were, once they were counted.

During this time I was in the Hillary victory hall. I stood right behind our gal on those risers when she  gave her speech. She was magnificent, stately and substantive… but where were those votes from Gary? Is Mayor Rudy Clay playing a fast one? CNN’s Wolf Blitzer and John King certainly wanted to know…. (honestly I almost fell out of bed at 1AM from the shock when JK actually pressed Mayor Clay).

Well Indy is done. It’s time to get on the plane in a few…

The folks here are truly lovely and personable. Thanks to all, who have made Sista feel welcome (in fact a bunch of Indy 500 speedway dudes just bought me a cocktail, for “inspiration”). I have heel-toed it from grass roots rallies (literally on the grass) to blue-collar back street sports pubs, to politico DNC dinners, to swank five-star eateries. I have sauntered/ and or limped from good-old-boy \private republican clubs to gay bars… and all of you in the greater Indy environs have been wonderful!

However… a note to the Obamites: clean up your filthy fishbowl of an office!! Not recycling coffee cups and signage is not only anti-green—it’s an eye sore!!

Off to the airport. Thanks again Indy.

got gas?…or just heartburn from the media

Posted on May 5th, 2008 in Piper in Pucci by hireheels

As I canvass Indiana in my Puccis (the hireheels gals have officially adopted me!), I am NOT hearing the same
narrative that the media are reporting over the past few days. Take “gas-gate,” for example. It seems the
entire intelligentsia class is above shaving 20 cents off your next gallon of gas. Hmmm, I can’t seem to find
anyone here against that idea. Yet on this morning’s Today Show, Meredith Viera rabidly challenged
Hillary Clinton to produce “a single economist” who piper_in_pucci_byline
supported the radical notion of saving working-class Americans a few bucks.

Have these people lost their minds?

This is either another example of the media being out of touch with what’s happening on the ground, or, their unwillingness to give Hillary a centimeter in this race (which Hillary’s already runnin’ backwards and in high heels!). But it seems that Indiana folks are agreeing with her on this issue! A brand new Suffolk University poll puts Hillary ahead of Obama : 49 – 43!

Hoosier Mama?!!

So maybe, just maybe, voters like Hillary’s radical position! Let me leave you with an anecdotal tidbit on just how frightening gas prices have become for the working class. My husband (a former military dude) handles security for one of Florida’s largest grocery chains. He is responsible for logging in and out all of its daily truckers. Well, two of those trucking companies went under last week solely because of high gas prices. When I asked him why he thought all the economists hated Hillary’s idea, he cynically replied: “Well, that’s because they can afford their gas!”

As can Meredith Viera!
