Obama…you’d better go take a Napa!

Posted on April 14th, 2008 in Princess Wears Prada by hireheels

Lou Dobbs, one of the good guys in the media, just got through hammering Obama on his ‘back-room’ elitism and demanded he make an apology to middle-class America (you never wanna be the enemy in Lou’s own branded War on the Middle Class!). Instead the pied-piper of droolin’ democrats is out on the stump making cocky jokes in an effort to deflect the onslaught of princess_wears_prada_bylineattacks.  Apparently, Pennsylvania isn’t chuckling at Obama’s smugness.  A brand new American Research Group Poll gives Clinton a commanding 20-point lead in the keystone state : 57 - 37.  Hmmm, considering they were tied at 45 in the last one, I’d say Mr. Obama better curl up with a case of red wine and Go Take A NAPA (please enjoy my brief vid)!

I am a Hillary fan and intend to vote for her. But this comment is disappointing because it is not talking about the issues nor asking the candidates to do so. Instead it is carrying on the name calling and focusing on trivial gaffs that can usually be attributed to campaign fatigue and trivial stumbling. How can we expect the media or politicians to do better if we don’t?

20%? YES! Or More, even better for the HILL*! I’ve been doing everything I can personally do to gain the support of all people, but especially those with Disabilities, a group that has gone a bit un-noticed, but I am atop, and I have the ability, access and even the knowledge to help Senator Clinton widen that margin; if I can, I will, why? She is My Champion! Just as she is for SO many here in NEPA, so Mr. Obama, he might not want to take a nap, as this election could just wake him right up, and with a lot of luck, knock him right out!; where he should be, and should have been by now!

Mr. Obama’s true beliefs are finally being revealed to the American people. The economy, Iraq occupation, health care and the environment are all very important and Hillary has great plans and solutions for these issues. However, it’s also very important for the American people to know who the candidates really are and what their beliefs are. The candidates’ character and judgment are very important. All of the factors must be evaluated in determining who is going to be our next President.

The reason what Obama said won’t go away is because he hit on the big issues. Obama meant it the way he said it. He said it slowly and thoughtfully. The people who were at the meeting said he meant what he said when he said it. Now he’s just trying to clear it up like he always does. he plays to who ever he’s with. There’s nothing consistent and that’s what is scary about hi,

I so agree that Obama meant it the way he said it. And, I have to say HURRAH for the media who have very carefully “licked the frosting” and left the cake for Obama. The lead-in to Obama’s comments was “they don’t want to hear this from a 46 year old black man named Barack Obama”. He was trying to get the race card back in play, but he needed someone else to toss it on the table for him. The media wouldn’t go along. They decided to play the church, and gun angle and state the antipathy was for illegal aliens. Guess why Obama had such a hard time defending his statements? He couldn’t tie them back to the speech on racism that gave him the big boost in the polls.
